Membership Admission
The right to admission into the Jain Elite Club is at the discretion of the Chairman and three Core Committee Members. Prospective members must undergo a mandatory interview conducted by the Chairman and the Core Committee Members.
Membership Eligibility
i. At least one spouse must be a Jain Shwetambar with Hindi or Marwari as their mother tongue.
ii. Membership is open only to couples aged below 40 years. Age proof (Aadhaar card or PAN card) must be submitted.
Membership Fees
i. Membership fees shall be determined from time to time by the Core Committee.
ii. Payment of membership fees grants members the right to participate in and enjoy events conducted by the Club.
Adherence to Club Rules
i. Members are bound by the rules, regulations, and bylaws of the Club, including any amendments introduced by the Chairman.
ii. Ignorance of these bylaws is not an excuse; all members are deemed to have constructive notice of the rules.
Members’ Conduct and Expectations
i. Criticizing or defaming the Jain Elite Club via social media, offline communication, or any other medium will result in forfeiture of the membership fee and permanent expulsion.
ii. Misuse of membership benefits may lead to termination at the discretion of the Chairman.
iii. Members shall not engage in any business or activity deemed illegal, defamatory, immoral, or obscene. Using the Club’s address for such purposes is strictly prohibited. Violating this clause may result in a permanent ban.
iv. Conduct deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the Club’s reputation may result in suspension, fines, or termination of membership. The Chairman retains the authority to enforce these measures after providing the member an opportunity to respond.
v. Usage of the Club’s Name and Address — Members are prohibited from using the name or address of the CLUB for personal or commercial purposes without prior authorization.
Event Registration
i. Members must register at the registration counter before entering any event. Failure to do so will result in being barred from the next event.
ii. Pre-registration for events is mandatory at least two (2) days prior. Failure to pre-register will result in denied entry.
iii. Members unable to attend after pre-registering must cancel their registration at least two (2) days in advance. Non-compliance will result in suspension from the next event.
iv. The Chairman and Core Committee reserve the right of admission to all events.
Children’s Participation
i. Only two (2) children (below 18 years) per member couple are allowed. Responsibility for children’s behavior rests solely with the parents/guardians.
ii. Children causing disruption will receive warnings; continued misbehaviour will result in a six-month ban from events.
Domestic & International Tours
i. Only members with valid passports can join international tours, which must be organized by professional tour operators with at least five (5) years of experience.
ii. Pure vegetarian and Jain food will be provided on all tours.
iii. Members must adhere to local rules and regulations during tours.
iv. International tour package fees must be paid fifty (50) days in advance.
Liabilities & Damages
i. Members are liable for any damages caused by themselves or their children during events. Damages assessed by the Chairman and Core Committee must be compensated as determined.
ii. The Chairman and Core Committee are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or harm occurring during events, tours, or facility usage.
iii. The Chairman and Core Committee shall not be responsible for any accidents, injuries, harm, or fatalities involving members, their children, or guests in any facility, including the swimming pool, gymnasium, games area, sports events, or other activities.
Event Guests
i. Guests must always be accompanied by a member. Non-members are only admitted when introduced and accompanied by a member.
ii. If any member objects to a guest’s presence, the matter will be referred to the Chairman or an authorized representative, whose decision is final.
iii. Members introducing guests must register the guest’s name and address along with their own name and pay the required guest fees in advance.
iv. Guest fees must be paid five (5) days before the event. Fees vary depending on the event.
v. Guests must be Shwetambar Jains.
vi. The Chairman and Core Committee may invite one couple as guests to two (2) events per year free of charge.
General Rules
i. Anti-social behavior or illegal activities are strictly prohibited. Damaging event venues will incur penalties as determined by the Chairman.
ii. Drivers, maids, non-members, and unpaid guests are not allowed at events.
iii. Dress codes specified in event invitations must be followed; non-compliance may result in denied entry.
iv. Pets are not allowed at club events.
Annual General Body Meeting (AGM)
i. The AGM shall be held on the last Sunday of a chosen month each year.
ii. Notice of the meeting shall be delivered via email or WhatsApp at least 21 days in advance.
iii. Proxy voting is not permitted.
iv. AGM business includes:

Adoption of the Annual Report and audited financial statements.
Discussion of resolutions proposed by the Committee, circulated no less than seven (7) days before the AGM.
Election of Office Bearers and Executive Committee members.
v. The AGM will be presided over by the President.

Accounts
i. The financial year of the CLUB shall run from April 20th to March 31.
ii. The Club shall maintain accurate financial recordsiii. Annual financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Income/Expenditure records, shall be prepared accordingly.
iv. A Statutory Auditor, appointed by the Chairman, will audit the accounts and serve until the next AGM.
Dispute Resolution
i. Disputes between members and the Club’s Core Committee or Chairman shall first be addressed through mutual negotiation.
ii. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to arbitration in Bangalore. The arbitrator will be appointed by the Chairman.
Temporary Suspension of Rules & Regulations
The Chairman may temporarily suspend bylaws to manage entry or privileges during special events, parties, or private functions.
Event Protocols
i. All indoor events will begin with the chanting of the Navkar Mantra. Members and their children are encouraged to participate. Members are also encouraged to greet others with “Jai Jinendra.”
ii. Food served at events will be strictly vegetarian and Jain. Non-vegetarian food, smoking, and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
iii. Parking arrangements are the responsibility of individual members.
